Factor 2

Factor-2 is a Russian-speaking group formed in 1999 by Ilya Podstrelov. Music "Factor-2" combines features of several genres and styles. The first concert in Russia took place in 2002 in the city of Vyborg.

In January 2005, two albums "FACTOR-2" were released in Russia at once - "We are fake MC" and "In our style". At the same time, a spectacular and at the same time extremely intelligible video for the song "Beauty" (directed by Sergei Zhukov) is shot in their support. From that moment on, the team began to gain popularity, despite the fact that radio stations categorically refuse to rotate their songs.

In August 2005, "Russian Radio" accepted their songs in rotation. In September 2005, the group, which permanently resides in Germany, first came to Russia for a long time and over the next four months gave a number of concerts throughout the country.

Then, in September 2005 "FACTOR-2" released their third album "Stories from Life", and in two versions at once - Super Hard and Extra Light. In addition to covers (black and white, respectively), the releases are distinguished by the presence / absence of profanity, as well as 2 exclusive tracks on each.

In May 2006, at the Record-2006 award ceremony of the Russian recording industry, the FACTOR-2 duet won the Group of the Year nomination.

At the end of 2007, after the end of the contract with Sergei Zhukov and Vitaly Moser, the group loses its name, since the right to "FACTOR-2" remains with the former producers. The guys decide to continue performing despite the incident under their own names "Ilya and Vlady". In May 2008, their album entitled "Rarity" was released.

In August 2012, the duet of Ilya Podstrelov and Vladimir Panchenko broke up. After that, Ilya began to perform with the group's concerts in Russia, and Vladimir - in Germany.
